In accordance with Assembly Bill 481, which addresses the use of military equipment by law enforcement agencies, the Elk Grove Police Department’s Military Equipment Report is available for review.

Assembly Bill 481, relating to the use of military equipment by law enforcement agencies. AB 481 requires each law enforcement agency's governing body to adopt a written military use policy by ordinance in a public forum. 

The annual public meeting will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026., City Council meeting.

Furthermore, we want to share the 2025 Annual Military Equipment Report, which is available for review.
