Stormwater Quality Conceptual Plan Requirements

The City of Elk Grove is a member of the Sacramento Stormwater Quality Partnership (SSQP), a regional program dedicated to protecting local waterways and improving stormwater quality.

All new development and qualifying redevelopment projects within the City must comply with the current requirements of the Sacramento Stormwater Quality Partnership’s Stormwater Quality Design Manual. These requirements help ensure that stormwater runoff is managed effectively to protect water quality, reduce pollution, and support sustainable development.
